Children's Room News

During April Vacation, nearly 50 kids painted very cool rocks for inclusion in Rochester's Art Esprit project, If These Rocks Could Talk. Watch this space for more information on their display schedule and open house.

2010 Summer Reading Program is just around the corner! Catch a Wave…...Read is this summer’s cool (and wet) theme. Mad Science will kick things off for us in late June watch for further information. In addition, on Thursday, July 8, we will host the Hampstead Stage Company's version of Treasure Island. Watch for more information about this awesome annual program in the June newsletter.

We are the proud recipients of the NH State Library's Chilis Kids Books and the Arts Grant! These funds will allow us to bring quality entertainment to our patrons during our Summer Reading Program. We will be collaborating with Valley View Community School and the FAMEE program to provide these programs.

Story Times have ended for the season and will resume in the fall.
Out of Town Card Fee Increase
In order to continue to offer the same level of services to our out-of-town patrons, we will be increasing the cost of out of town cards to $20.00 beginning July 1, 2010.
Please remember! Patrons who have small children in baby carriages or strollers as well as those who
have difficulty walking or getting around are welcome to use the elevator entrance located at the back of the library/bank parking lot. Press the buzzer and a staff member will release the latch for you to enter.
